You don’t have to tackle legal paperwork alone.

Handling legal paperwork on your own can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already dealing with a stressful situation. At OC Legal Support, we specialize in helping self-represented individuals navigate the forms, deadlines, and documentation required in California legal matters. Whether you’re filing a motion, responding to a summons, starting an eviction, or preparing any other legal paperwork, our team is here to make the process smoother and less intimidating.

We assist you by completing your legal documents at your direction, organizing them properly, and preparing them for filing so you can move forward with confidence. While we do not provide legal advice or represent clients in court, our skilled and experienced Legal Document Assistants (LDAs) help streamline the paperwork process and reduce the stress and uncertainty that often comes with representing yourself.

What is an LDA?

A Legal Document Assistant (LDA) is a trained and registered professional authorized in California to help members of the public prepare legal documents without the supervision of an attorney. LDAs perform many of the same document preparation tasks as paralegals, but there is one major difference: paralegals work under supervision of a licensed attorney, while LDAs work directly with self-represented individuals. This allows LDAs to provide accessible, affordable, and knowledgeable support to people who wish to handle their legal matters on their own but need help understanding and completing the required paperwork.

At OC Legal Support, our LDAs guide you through each step of the document preparation process, ensuring your forms are completed accurately, organized correctly, and ready to file so you can focus on your case with clarity and peace of mind.
